Instructions:
For the Card Front
- Cover both front panels of the card with red dotted paper. Cut a 4 1/2 wide strip of yellow with circle words paper and glue it across the front of the two panels, 7/8 from the bottom edge, and trim the excess paper even with the edges of the card. Cut two 7/8 wide strips of multi stripes paper. Glue one strip overlapping each of the seams between the red dotted and yellow with circle words papers. Trim the excess paper even with the edges of the card and use scissors to cut through the yellow with circle words and multi stripes papers, separating the two panels.
- Add three red balloon brads to the front of the card, positioning the brads in the centers of the circles on the yellow with circle words paper. Cut out the yellow with multi stripes tag and the Celebrate! Birthday! overlay. Apply a small amount of glue stick to the back of the overlay and glue it at an angle over the tag. Glue the tag at an angle on the card front, gluing the tab end over the left panel and letting the tag lay unglued overlapping the right panel. Cut an 8 length of red grosgrain ribbon and trim the tails at an angle. Tie the ribbon into a shoestring bow, then use a Zot to secure the bow over the tab at the top of the tag.
For the Card Inside
- Cut a 3 7/8x5 1/4 piece of yellow with multi dots paper, then ink the edges black and glue centered on inside of the card.
- Cut out the light blue with rickrack border and glue it centered across the inside of the card, overlapping the yellow with circle words paper. Cut out the Wishing you a delightful day quote and glue it centered over the light blue with rickrack border, then cut out the Happy Birthday ribbon fragment and glue it centered under the quote.
