Sara's Surfaces

Altered surfaces are an incredibly hot trend in papercrafting. More and more scrapbookers and cardmakers are turning their creativity from traditional papercrafting projects to altering tins, pails and paper portfolios. That's why I'm o excited for Hot Off The Press' new line called Sara's Surfaces. This line contains a variety of albums and non-traditional paper surfaces that are perfect for letting your imagination and creativity rule.

I like the Sara's Surfaces line because these items really are meant to be a blank slate. You can make them into cards, gift containers, books, page or card embellishments, whatever you want. My favorite is the Four Fold Pocket. It makes a great gift card/book for someone and you can enclose special notes or gift cards in the pockets.

For papercrafters who might be intimidated by the idea of a blank slate (and let's face it, sometimes we all need a little help getting started) there's Sara's Surfaces Idea Book. This book has over 60 project ideas for the items in the line. It's perfect for jumpstarting your creativity, as it's packed with ideas for everything from albums and portfolios to pockets, mini folders and coin envelopes and more.

And if you're looking for class ideas, the Surfaces line is ideal. Since they're a blank slate, they're prefect for teaching a variety of techniques with a variety of products. With the Surfaces line you can showcase patterned papers, stamps, ink pads, acrylic paints, alcohol inks and more, making them perfect for cross selling merchandise.

I love using my papercrafting techniques on different surfaces. That's why I'm so excited for the new Sara's Surfaces line. With three different albums and twelve different paper surfaces, there are limitless possibilities to unleash my creativity!
